Doug Bleadorn – PANTHERS VARSITY HEAD COACH Coach Bleadorn is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. He
also played college basketball at Northwestern. He has been coaching on the Eastside of Plano for thirteen
years. He is starting his fifth season as the Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Plano East and was the
Co-Head Coach two years prior to that. It is his 19th year of teaching and coaching overall. Coach Bleadorn has been named the District Coach of the Year in: 2003-2004,
2004-2005, and 2007-2008. He was also named the Dallas Morning News, Collin County Coach of the Year in 2003-2004.
Recently he was named the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Don Coleman Outstanding Coach of the Year Finalist
on May 2nd 2008. He is a big time Iowa Hawkeye fan and he loves the Black and Gold.

I am in my 11th year
of coaching. I am a graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce. Lettered in Basketball and Track.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my
family, my wife Kari and my son Jason Randall.
